Age Spots and Freckles Gone!

Although wrinkles can be ageing, they also add character and interest to a face, but I don't think age spots are ever viewed as beautiful, instead they tell the story of a face that has been damaged in the sun.

My face had a few freckles that had developed into larger looking age spots, check out the top photo.  Unfortunately the lighting is a little brighter than in the after shot, but you can see them. I decided to find out what I could do about saying goodbye to them.

After receiving written clearance from my GP that my freckles and spots were not cancerous, I made an appointment at the Caci Clinic in Hamilton.  Shelley the wonderful nurse there explained the procedure and made sure I was totally aware of what I had signed up for.  The procedure took fifteen minutes for the laser to burn the spots, while I wore goggles to protect my eyes.

Upon leaving the clinic I had a slight burning sensation, but that soon passed, however for almost two weeks I looked like a spotty Appaloosa horse as the burns developed into scabs.  The scabs then became like tissue paper and flaked off leaving behind perfect skin!

I am thrilled with the results, I feel almost like a newborn.
