Truly developer Sharlene Camp says the site takes the hard work out of shopping by culling inappropriate clothing so customers can go to the fitting room with focus. "It opens up the world of fashion to the everyday woman who is too busy to look, is unsure about what suits her, is overwhelmed by the number of choices, or she just doesn't know what's on offer. "It is fun, but it definitely is not an 'extreme makeover'. It's a chance for the customer to make sure they are considering buying clothes that have a good chance of suiting them in the first place, says Ms Camp. Truly joins an increasing trend in online shopping, providing content aimed at individual customers. Truly customers print out a proof sheet of garments specifically chosen for them and then to head to the stores to try them on. A former general manager of Dunedin's successful Fashion Incubator, Ms Camp says it is imperative with fashion clothing that the customers try on garments unless it is a very basic item. "The internet is limited because it doesn't allow the user to touch or try on the product, which is vital with clothing," says Ms Camp. "At the Fashion Incubator I was fortunate to work with up and coming designers creating some exceptional pieces.
